A família Herbert descende de William Herbert, Earl the Pembroke e Barão de Cardiff, casado com Ann Parr, irmã da Rainha Catherine Parr, a sexta esposa do Rei Henrique VIII. Assinado por William e Anne Herbert em baixo. Selo pessoal de William Herbert ainda presente com representação de uma coroa encimando o elmo indicando nobreza.O selo de Ann Herbert está ausente.  A fine example of an Indenture of the period of King Charles II, in this case a transaction of lands between William Herbert and Anne Herbert, his wife, and Thomas Bussoff. Very fine large example with the signatures of William and Anne Herbert. Nice personal seal with a coronet above the helm indicating nobility. Anne Herbert´s seal has since fallen off. Witnesses signatures on back. The extensive Herbert family descends from William Herbert, Earl of Pembroke and Baron of Cardiff who married Ann Parr, sister of Henry the VIII´s sixth wife Queen Catherine Parr.
