Sebastião, o Forte de São Jerónimo, as Igrejas, algumas datam do século XVI, como a Catedral, a Igreja da Conceição, do Bom Jesus, da Madre de Deus, de Santo António, os monumentos, as ruas com as suas casas de diversos estilos dos séculos XIX e XX. Grande destaque é conferido às roças, propriedades agrícolas estruturantes do território e da cultura São Tomense. Inclui também descrições dos pequenos ilhéus das Rolas e das Cabras.

This is a very comprehensive work, notable for the beautiful photographs that document the detailed descriptions of the cities, landscapes and the most important buildings, such as the “Forte de S. Sebastião”, the “Forte de São Jerónimo”, the churches, some of which date back to the 16th century, such as the Cathedral, the Igreja da Conceição, of Bom Jesus, of Madre de Deus, of Santo António, the monuments, the streets with their houses in different styles from the 19th and 20th centuries. Great prominence is given to the roças (plantations), the agricultural properties that are a structural part of the territory and of São Tomé culture. It also includes descriptions of the small islets of Rolas and Cabras.
