Exemplar com manchas azuladas, ondulamento do papel e pequenas falhas junto à margem lateral por efeitos de humidade.

Manuscrito redigido a uma só mão em caligrafia firme e legível. Apresenta um jogo de dados com carácter adivinhatório, no qual o seu lançamento determinará um aspecto relacionado com a vida do jogador, quer seja no campo económico, amoroso, religioso, familiar, etc.

O verso de todas as folhas apresenta ao canto superior esquerdo as faces de dois dados, que fazem uma espécie de numeração das folhas: as primeiras duas folhas com os números 6 e 8; seguem-se 8 conjuntos de onze folhas numeradas de 2 a 12; as últimas três folhas com os números 2 a 4.

Embora todas as folhas apresentem os símbolos com as faces dos dados, algumas encontram-se por escrever, nomeadamente: as duas primeiras; a que tem o número 2 do quarto conjunto; o verso da que tem o número 8 e a que tem o 9 do sexto conjunto; e todas a partir do verso da que tem o número 4 do oitavo conjunto.

As primeiras 35 folhas (até à que tem o número 12 do terceiro conjunto) estão escritas apenas pela frente, com exceção do verso da que tem o número 12 do primeiro conjunto. Nestas são apresentadas um conjunto de 22 «Sortes» e a forma de procurar a sua resposta, consoante o resultado do lançamento de dois dados. Alguns exemplos são: «Se terá Azares na Vida», «Se terá Ventura na Patria, ou fora della», «Se lhe descubriraõ seus segredos» ou «Se cazará com Donzella, ou veuva, e q[ue] mulher terá».

As restantes folhas, que apresentam as respostas em forma de estrofes, na sua maioria quadras de rima emparelhada mas também com alguns tercetos de rima ABB, estão escritas na frente e no verso. Reúnem um total de 484 estrofes que se dividem em dois grupos de 242 quer o jogador seja homem ou mulher.

Manuscript written by one sole hand, in firm, legible handwriting. It presents a game of dice with a fortune-telling character, in which its throw will determine an aspect related to the player's life, whether in the economic, love, religious, family field, etc.

The back of all the sheets shows the faces of two dice in the top left-hand corner, which sort of number the sheets: the first two sheets with the numbers 6 and 8; then 8 sets of eleven sheets numbered from 2 to 12; the last three sheets with the numbers 2 to 4.

While all the sheets show the symbols with the faces of the dice, some are still unwritten, namely: the first two; the one with the number 2 from the fourth set; the back of the one with the number 8 and the one with 9 from the sixth set; and all of them from the back of the one with the number 4 from the eighth set.

The first 35 sheets (up to the one with the number 12 in the third set) are written on the front only, with the exception of the back of the one with the number 12 in the first set. They show a set of 22 "Chances" and how to find their answer, depending on the result of the throw of two dice. Some examples are: "If he will have misfortunes in life", "If he will have fortune in his country, or outside it", "If he will discover his secrets" or "If he will marry a maiden, or a widow, and what wife he will have".

The remaining sheets, which present the answers in the form of stanzas, mostly rhyming quatrains but also with some rhyming tercets ABB, are written on the front and back. They contain a total of 484 stanzas, which are divided into two groups of 242, whether the player is male or female.
