Exemplar muito limpo e por aparar, conservando todas as gravuras bem dobradas.

Conjunto completo, constituído por três obras holandesas sobre o cultivo de árvores de fruto, em primeiras edições, publicadas respectivamente em 1758 (Pomologia) e 1763 (Fructologia & Dendrologia) e que habitualmente aparecem encadernadas juntas. Knoop (1700-1769) foi jardineiro-mor, responsável pelos jardins da princesa Maria Luísa de Nassau, em Leeuwarden, na Frísia (Holanda), e também professor de matemática. As duas primeiras obras (a terceira não é ilustrada) apresentam um total de 39 gravuras desdobráveis a talhe-doce, cuidadosamente coloridas à mão (na época), representando grande variedade de frutos (maçãs, peras, pêssegos, ameixas, cerejas, etc.) todos devidamente identificados.

Complete set, formed by three Dutch works on the cultivation of fruit trees. First editions published respectively in 1758 (Pomologia) and 1763 (Fructologia & Dendrologia) that usually come together bound.

Knoop (1700-1769) was chief gardener, responsible for the gardens of Princess Marie Louise of Nassau, in Leeuwarden, Friesland (Netherlands), and professor of mathematics also. The 2 first works have a total of 39 engravings intaglio (the third is not illustrated), contemporary hand-colored, representing a great variety of fruits (apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries, etc.). All fruits properly identified.
